Taj with Rumi

Destination - Agra . India

That moment when I first saw the Taj as a child will always remain with me. I was completely mesmerized. I was awed by its spectacular size and the audacity behind such an undertaking. I can never describe the feeling. I did get that feeling whenever I saw some other wonders of the world for the first time - The Eiffel Tower, Colosseum in Rome, Grand Canyon. It is an unexplainable feeling. So I have given up on trying to explain it. Therefore here is Taj with the poetry of Rumi which transcends languages and is probably the best medium to reflect on the magic of the Taj. "Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing there is a field.
I'll meet you there.
When the soul lies down in that grass the world is too full to talk about."
"Dance, when you're broken open.
Dance, if you've torn the bandage off.
Dance in the middle of the fighting.
Dance in your blood.
Dance when you're perfectly free."
"Forget safety.
Live where you fear to live.
Destroy your reputation.
Be notorious."
"My soul is from elsewhere, I'm sure of that, and I intend to end up there." "Don't be satisfied with stories, how things have gone with others. Unfold your own myth."
